Our Portland tour commences with a private Pro-Am tournament held on the official DGPT Milo McIver course, on Monday morning. Eat real food at night at local digs, and rise early to get your game on at some of the classic courses the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Nomad is proud to partner with the Disc Golf Pro Tour to offer an exclusive Pro-Am experience. During our Pro-Am day, you’ll play the tournament-ready Milo McIver course with a touring pro, and compete against your other trip mates for bragging rights – and cool prizes.

Not only is Nate involved in the behind-the-scenes operations of the business, he will also be your Host on this May, 2025 trip to Portland, Oregon. Nate’s signature combination of dry wit, strategic thinking, and elite skill make him the ideal touring companion!
Day 1 | Monday, May 26, 2025
Welcome and Milo McIver Pro – Am Day!
Meet your group in the morning at our base hotel in Portland. After some introductions, we’ll pack our lunches for the day – choosing from an assortment of goodies laid out by your Nomad guides. Next, hop in the van for our transfer to nearby Estacada, home of the famous Milo McIver courses. Today we will play the official 18-hole course to be used in the upcoming Pacific Northwest / Portland Tournament – courtesy of our friends at the Disc Golf Pro Tour. In addition to Nate Sexton, today we’ll be joined by other touring pros. We’ll add one pro to each group, and play in our private Pro-Am format, that will surely result in some quality trash talking, and prizes for the winners too!
An early afternoon return to our hotel in Portland will give you time to relax before dinner. We’ll meet for an orientation meeting and welcome drink before heading out on foot for our welcome dinner at a nearby restaurant.

*Leave your luggage for the trip at the hotel this morning, and your room will be ready when we are back this afternoon.
Day 2 | Tuesday, May 27, 2025
Pier Park Disc Golf | E bike | Bike tour of Portland
After an early breakfast at the hotel, stock up on some of our snacks for the day before boarding the vans for a transfer to Pier Park. Pier Park is considered the jewel of the Eastside of Portland, and it is one of the most popular courses in the region for good reason. It is simply beautiful. We’ll spend the morning playing all 20 holes before heading to a nearby restaurant for some lunch.
It would not be a trip to Portland without riding a bike, so this afternoon we’ll head to downtown for a guided bike/e bike tour. This two-hour tour is a great way to see the best of Portland from two wheels. We transfer back to the hotel in the afternoon. You’ll have some time to relax before we walk to dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3 | Wednesday, May 28, 2025
Discover Horning’s Hideout
Today we are treated to Horning’s Hideout, a favorite among private courses in the Pacific Northwest. After breakfast at our hotel, we’ll make the drive to Horning’s Hideout. We’ll take some time to admire the beautiful setting, before breaking into our foursomes to play one of the 3 courses available!! After your rounds, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch created by your Nomad guides. We’ll take some time to hang out before heading back to our hotel in the late afternoon. Our farewell dinner tonight is at a restaurant nearby. We’ll celebrate the end to a week of being together, and playing some of the finest courses around.

Day 4 | Thursday, May 29, 2025
Departure Day
After breakfast, Nomad will provide transfers to the nearby Portland Airport (PDX), for those needing transportation.

TOUR PRICES
Our tour prices are based on double occupancy. If you are a solo traveler and prefer to reserve a single room, a single room supplement will apply. If you are a solo traveler, but are willing to share a room, we will attempt to place you in a room with a person of the same gender. If we are unable to find a person to share your room, the single supplement will still apply.
BOOKING A TOUR
A deposit of $500 per person is required to book a tour. The balance of your tour payment will be due 90 days prior to the tour’s start date.
Cancellations and Refunds
All cancellations must be made in writing. If you cancel your tour after having paid the initial $500 deposit, but still before 90 days prior to the trip’s start date, a $250 per person deposit will apply. If you cancel your tour after having paid the final balance, but before 30 days prior to the tour’s start date, we will refund you 50% of the full tour price. If you cancel your tour inside of 30 days prior to the tour’s start date, no refunds will be given. We cannot make any exceptions to this policy.
