ADVENTURE TRAVEL MEETS DISC GOLF

NOMAD was created by an Adventure Travel industry veteran and one of America’s most beloved disc golfers. Together, they have launched the first travel and hospitality company to specifically serve the sport of disc golf and its passionate, growing community of players.

The idea for NOMAD has been around for many years, but it was not until a chance meeting between our two co-founders that things really began to fly. While attending the 2023 USDGC, David Martin met Nate Sexton, and what had only been an idea up to that point, NOMAD was officially launched.

DAVID MARTIN

David has worked in the Adventure Travel sector for over 25 years, specifically operating bicycle and walking tours around the world. He has led group tours to 14 different Tour de France races, as well as countless tours across Italy, Spain, Ireland, Germany and even Vietnam. David is no stranger to the disc. He won 5 Canadian National Ultimate Championships, placed 2nd at the World Ultimate and Guts Championships with Team Canada, in 1992. And, with PDGA # 15267, he has been playing disc golf for almost 40 years. His favorite disc golf memory is playing with Ken Climo at the 1999 Masters Cup and grabbing the last cash spot.

NATE SEXTON

Needless to say, Mr. Sexton needs no introduction. A native of Corvalis, Oregon, Nate has been playing as a pro since 2000. Nate’s accomplishments in disc golf are well documented and he won the prestigious United States Disc Golf Championship in 2017. When he is not shredding disc golf courses, or commentating for the Disc Golf Network, Nate can be found spending time with his family. His dry sense of humor and genuine demeanor make him one of the most popular players on tour today.
